Another Week Down

So here it is, Saturday morning again. Only this morning is not fall-ish at all, but it is a little cooler than some mornings have been.

This past week has flown by for me, lately it seems they do. I do a lot of sleeping, maybe that is why. I feel kinda bad for Dwayne, the other night he asked me when I'm going to be normal again. He said I'm always tired or sleeping, or kinda moody. He has been doing really great with it though. He offers to make supper some nights, and he even sorted and started the (gigantic pile of) laundry yesterday :) I am ready to feel 'normal' again too. Not that I think I'm all that different, I know I am tired a lot, especially on days that I work. But, this too shall pass. :)

On Monday I go for my first Dr. appointment!! It's going to be a super boring one though, just lots of paperwork and family  history info, and making a payment of course. The next one they schedule though, will be FUN! I'll have my first ultra sound, and hopefully get to see and hear this little nuggets' heartbeat. I cannot wait!! It will be fun to see, and also just a confirmation that there is for sure a growing baby in there:) Oh, and to see if I'm for sure almost 8 weeks along. Hoping I'm not any less than that!
I found this awesome website, and weekly it will tell me what all is happening in there, what progress the baby is making. It's so much fun! This past week it should have been growing little hands and feet, and should have a pancreas  and an appendix:) And a little working liver. And lots of other things. All in a little 'blueberry' sized baby! SO strange and awesome to think all of that is going on. What an awesome God we have!!

Well thats about all I have to talk about, I think I will go make some pancakes and drag Dwayne out of bed to eat with me :)

Have a great week!

Here is a belly pic, 7 1/2 weeks...and almost all BLOAT! It makes the little pudge I had before stick out even more, but hey, I guess it looks like a baby belly :) When I have a 'real' belly I'll post another picture.

  1. in about two weeks or so your bloatedness will leave and in the mornin your belly will be relatively flat and be the end of the day it will be a bigger because of eating. :) it feels better once the bloating leaves.
